It's amazing how life can change in the blink of an eye, and how different the outcome might be if just one little thing were different.
This post isn't about Patrick (well, eventually it will be, just give it a moment).
One year ago, Patrick's Buppa took a fall. Not a small fall,he fell 30 feet off a cliff. Why do we say we were lucky? Could it be that Gigi has a great sense of humor, and wanted to go find Buppa and scare him, which made her walk near where he fell So she could hear him calling for her ? Maybe it is because Gigi and Buppa were camping with friends that were firefighters and EMTs who knew how to keep Buppa stable until the ambulance arrived? We could say it is because Buppa was taken to a fantastic medical facility? We could also say that we are lucky that Buppa is just as stubborn as his own parents, and therefore wanted to get back to life as normal.
Whatever the reason,this is why we are lucky. This is why we are blessed. This is why we continue to spread the gift that is PatPat's Hats to others.
Thank you Buppa. Without your help, PatPat's Hats would never be where it is today.
