Through it all, we still know that we are doing good things

The past few months have been, to say the least, difficult. We have lost Patrick's Great Aunt, Nana and Pop had a fire at their home, and we have lost Patrick's Great Grandpa. Through it all, we have learned more about the strength of our family. We have learned how to support each other, we have learned about the strength of our family, and we have learned that life can change in an instant. our family is very aware of this fact, but sometimes even we need to be reminded.

Through it all, we still keep receiving hats! Even when I am not reminding people every day, the hats keep coming in. We are still able to spread warmth. We are still able to help others.

The day that I received the message that my grandfather was in the hospital, I just had a hunch that something wasn't right. I was at PatPat's Hats Central (Gigi and Buppa's House) waiting for phone calls and updates. Gigi, knowing me well, knew that I would need to be busy. She pulled out hats, and we started tagging them. Patrick got to help us tag the hats, and he of course picked out his favorites.

Okay, now I'm rambling.... But really this message is to say thank you. Thank you to those people that have sent prayers and thoughts to our family in the past few months. Thank you to those of you that CONTINUE to send hats to us over and over.

A few people have been piloting a new program, and we are very excited to introduce it to everyone in the PatPat's Hats Community. If you know of local organizations in YOUr area that could benefit with your hats, you can request that we send you tags. You can wash, bag, and tag the hats on your own!! this saves you the money in shipping the hats, it saves US money in shipping the hats, and you get the joy of donating the hats on your own. If you are interested in receiving tags for your hat donations, fill out the form below.
