Last night, with the help of text messaging, I picked out my dress. I picked out the yarn for the shawl that I will be casting on today to wear (yes, I'm making it this weekend). I think I have everything.
The Gala for The One Hundred is on Tuesday. I want to be sure that before the exciting night happens I thank some incredibly important people.
First.... All of you!!! People are constantly telling me "wow! It's so amazing what you do!" I remind them that I do very little. I will be here as long as you are all here. As long as you want to send hats. While there are still children that need them.
Most importantly, my family. None of this would be possible without the support and help of my family. When you send hats, they are received by Buppa and Gigi. Those thank you notes? You got those from Nana. Aunt Jenny does tons of research for me, and patrick and mommy... Well, they are patrick and mommy.
PatPat's Hats began as a thank you gift. A thank you for the support and care that our family received while patrick was going through treatment. We will never be able to thank the friends, family, doctors, nurses, child life staff, and strangers that supported us. You help us say thank you with each hat that you donate.
