As terrible as a Cancer diagnosis is, and I would never wish it on my worst enemy, sometimes good things happen. For us, it was the amazing families that we have encountered along this journey. Today, I would like you all to meet Josh.
Josh is a big brother. Josh is a Football Player. Josh is a boy scout. Josh has a dog. and as of March 7th, after 1,199 days Josh is DONE WITH CHEMO!!!!!!!!

Josh's Mom started Emmy's Heart "Because Every Boy and Girl Deserves to Fly. Patrick's Cape helped him Fly right out of his last day of Chemo. Josh's mom has also started Running for Josh. She is, quite literally, running for a cure.

On March 7th, after 1,199 days of Chemo, Josh is DONE with Chemotherapy for Leukemia. To Celebrate this amazing day, We at PatPat's Hats will be donating
You guessed it. . .
1,199 hats in the month of March !!!!!
Here is what we need from you all:
1. Hats: Remember hats must be NEW and WASHABLE. They can be in All sizes (Preemie, Toddler, School Aged, and Teens) As many of these hats are going to children going through chemo, seamless hats are best. If you are going to have a seam in your hat, just be sure it is a "gentle" seam. Seams can be very irritating on sensitive heads.
2. Zip Lock Bags : All of our hats are individually bagged. So we use 1 QT and 1 Gallon Bags.
3. Gift Cards to Walmart and Staples: We go through a Lot of Zip Lock Bags (see above) and also a lot of paper. Gift cards to Walmart and Staples are always helpful.
4. Delivery Angels: So, we will be sending hats to multiple locations (Smillow, Joe Dimaggio Children's Hospital , And other facilities as well. HERE is where you angels come in. Do you know a facility that could benefit from receiving hats? Would YOU like to deliver them? We love to have our hats delivered in person, we love to receive pictures of the donations.
Gigi and Buppa will be getting the official count of the hats that we currently have "In Stock" My guess, we have about 400. So, get those needles, hooks, and sewing machines going!!!.
From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you. We want to celebrate the amazing families that we have met along this journey, and if we can do that with hats. so be it.
