Apologies for the strange formatting**** It's fascinating to me. in 2011 I never expected that 3 years later I would be writing this post. I never expected that I would be saying thank you for another great year, yet here I am. Here I am with all of you once again saying THANK YOU!! Our family is continuously overwhelmed by your kindness and your support. I can truly say that PatPat's Hats would NOT be here if it were not for all of you. What did we do this year? We sent our first batch of hats to Canada! Adele's Over The Rainbow Baskets became our first recipient of hats in Canada We have determined that warmer climates most certainly need our hats, the wonderful folks down at Joe Dimaggio Children's hoospital have been distributing hats to their patients, and the kids LOVE them. In fact, someone went in for a counts check, and came home with a special something. (according to mom, he wouldn't take it off) |
We have had people start their OWN hat drives on behalf of PatPat's HAts!!
The Student Government Association at Community College of Rhode Island collected over 50 hats!!!
One of our incredible followers (she also has a wonderful business called Mainely Applique ) set up a mission bin at her church. This simple gesture allows people to make hats that she sends up to us ! Also, she makes amazing beanies, and for each beanie ordered, she makes on for PatPat's Hats!
