On August 30th, 2011, Patrick James Raymond was taken to Yale New Haven Children's Hospital ER. For about 2 weeks he had been complaining of a "boo boo" on his head and Vomiting. The Pediatrician thought he must have a stomach bug, but he just wasn't getting better. That day she advised his mommy to take him to the hospital. The ER residents immediately recommended an MRI, that showed 3 masses on Patrick's brain.
Surgery to remove the tumors was scheduled for the next day, and the surgeon was able to perform a 100% resection. However, we also learned that the tumors were malignant. A condition called Desmoplastic Medulloblastoma.
After about 3 weeks of recovery at Yale, Patrick Started his chemotherapy regimen. Each round of Chemo lasted 8 weeks, and he went through 3 rounds of chemo.

On March 16th, 2012 Patrick received his final chemotherapy treatment.
On April 2nd, it was confirmed that Patrick is officially and Medically Cancer Free!!!
